Amanda Becker is a health and science writer, popular health coach, and writing coach.

A regular contributor to health, fitness, and medical related magazines, blogs, and newspapers, Amanda cover topics including but not limited to weight loss, nutrition, mental health, natural and alternative medicine, women’s health, health policy, wellness, and mind body health.  Her many publishing credits include Beautiful You Weight Loss,, Bars and Branches, Peaceful Dumpling, to name a few.

Amanda has an extensive background in the biological and health sciences.  She holds a Bachelors in English and Biopsychology, a Masters in Business Administration, was a Masters in Science in Health Psychology candidate (earning 16 graduate credits), is a Certified Personal Trainer, is a health coach, taught Biology and English in the K-12 environment for over 15 years, and has experience in Biology Laboratory Technology (Hollins University).

Amanda has always had an interest in both writing and the sciences.  Her interest in the health sciences when she was diagnosed with OCD, Social Anxiety, Depression, and Compulsive Eating Disorder when she was in her early 20s.  Learning everything she could about mental and physical health, Amanda was able to beat her disorders, naturally, losing over 130 pounds and discovering how to change her own brain chemistry through mindfulness and healthy eating to beat her mental disorders to live a healthy, happy, and positive life.


With a passion for sharing the secrets to good health and positive living with the world, Amanda became a Health Writer, Health and Life Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer.  Her health and nutrition focused articles, blog posts, web copy, ghostwriting, press releases, white papers, news features, and more are gaining a broad reach to education, inspire, and influence the world of health and fitness.
